Finnish wool is very similar to Blue Faced Leicester wool in appearance. Beautiful natural shades of Brown Finnish and White Finnish minimally blended to produce a natural colored striped effect, similar in appearance to a humbug sweet. Perfect for hand spinning, hand felting, 3D needle felting and many other craft uses.

*Humbugs are a traditional hard boiled sweet available in the United Kingdom, Ireland and elsewhere. They are usually flavored with peppermint and striped in two different colors.

Finnsheep are known in their native country of Finland as Finnish Landrace. Finnish wool is very similar to Bluefaced Leicester wool in appearance. The breed is considered to be several hundred years old, descending from the Mouflon that live in the wild on Sardinia and Corsica. With a soft hand and medium length, it is highly praised by hand spinners as it also blends easily with other fibers. Many hand spinners call it heavenly.
